Are you seeking a Master of Social Work internship that provides comprehensive and diverse clinical experience? Newaygo County Mental Health offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience while receiving structured supervision and training in a supportive professional environment.

Interns work directly with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of clinical settings. Responsibilities may include case management, individual counseling, group therapy, and participation in interdisciplinary treatment planning.

Newaygo County Mental Health utilizes a range of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Substance Use Disorder treatment, co-occurring disorder treatment, trauma-informed care, family therapy, and neurofeedback services.

By the conclusion of the internship, students gain practical experience, clinical confidence, and professional skills necessary to enter the fields of social work, mental health services, and co-occurring disorder treatment.
